This area is a year round destination for artists, hikers, skiers, and fun lovers of all sorts. So ... there is plenty of great accommodation available for you during your Taste of Glass. We know it can be hard to choose, so we have selected four places for your "first call". They are all great places, in wonderful locations, close to our studios and run by very, very nice people. We know that staying at any of these spots will add to your Taste of Glass experience.
 Closest to the Avalon Clearview Studio for stained glass is the Avalon Clearview B&B - yes, its the same place. Elaine runs the B&B (with Steve's help) and Steve is the stained glass artist. Avalon is also close to the Eleanor's Turtle Creek Art Glass Studio where Eleanor will be teaching fused and slumped glass. Avalon has 3 suites, all with full ensuite baths, and guests have their own parking, entrance and lounge. Perched on the Niagara Escarpment and situated on the Bruce Trail, Avalon overlooks Devils Glen Provincial Park and the Mad River Valley.
 In the centre of all three studios is the Pretty River Valley Country Inn, run by Linda and Paul. Closest to the Turtle Creek Studio, the Pretty River has 11 suites and is the largest of our four recommended spots to lay your head. The Inn overlooks the Pretty River Provincial Park, and along with having a beautiful property, has spectacular views.
 Nestled in the Beaver Valley, on 120 acres of meadows and forest, is the lovely Ansaku B&B. Here is what some recent guests had to say about Sabine and Andi's place:

 Perched above the Beaver Valley, Jasper Stuart House is a beautiful property with a beautiful view. Sue and Kerry have lovingly restored this gorgeous Victorian country manse into a lovely, well appointed place to stay during your Taste of Glass. The Jasper Stuart B&B has 5 guest rooms (all with ensuite of course), a well equipped guest lounge and heated in-ground pool. You will love it.
